Is there any way….(Cardio Theater)_
Gold’s St. John location can display this remaining time on the movies?

We can do that as long as its not too distracting to the picture.

I took my first spin class yesterday at Gold’s Baymeadows and I really like the class but the seats are so uncomfortable! I feel like my butt is bruised! Does this go away? Do people get used to it? Or is there some trick so this doesn’t happen next time? I really want to keep taking this class, please help. Surely I am not the only one to feel this way.

Kristin,

Yes, the seats can be a pain in the you-know-what. Ask you spin instructor about quick fix techniques (towel). The best solution is a jelly seat. They can be picked up a local bikes shops. This will give you some cushion during the 45 minute ride. Of course, the more you spin, the less you will feel it. Then you can concentrate on the other parts of your body that will hurt :) Thanks for the question.

I love Pam, I think she’s the best instructor I’ve ever had. I’ve been taking her classes for about a year and a half now and couldn’t imagine what I would do if she ever left. There have been people who complain that she’s too tough but isn’t that the point of coming to the gym? To have a good and effective workout? There have been occasions that I’ve seen her “tone down” the class and it’s upsetting when that happens. I think that these people who complain aren’t really coming to the gym to lose weight or tone themselves they’re just coming to say that they go to the gym or take pilates or yoga or what have you. Please don’t let these people ruin our workouts, please? I like Pam just the way she is and she inspires me to do more than I ever thought I could and these people who keep complaining would find that out if they just gave it a chance.
